..and thank you for visiting. :) My name is Marina, and I’m the artist behind Heartbeasties. I have always been a creative person. My love for art began in childhood, and I loved spending time drawing, filling up my hand-made field journals, and making countless plasticine creatures.

As I grew up, art was never seen as a ''safe'' profession or even a viable career option, so with that in mind, I have ruled out art as a career choice and went to university for Landscape Architecture in Croatia, where I got my bachelor's degree. But I have never stopped drawing and crafting, either for myself or for others.

During a difficult time in 2017, art brought me comfort, leading me to sculpt my very first beastie. From that moment on, I've been creating Heartbeasties and sharing them with the world.

As an artist, I am inspired by the beauty of nature and the power of imagination, combining the two to bring unique creatures to life. Through the serene world of Heartbeasties, I create pieces that bring hope and a touch of fantasy into your daily life.
